The BanG Dream! project has unveiled the main key visual, second promotional video, and story synopsis for its upcoming TV anime series BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita (バンドリ！ ゆめ∞みた), set to premiere on July 2, 2026 at 23:00 JST on TOKYO MX and other channels. The series will also stream simultaneously on ABEMA, Prime Video, dアニメストア, Hulu, U-NEXT, and more.
About the BanG Dream! Project
BanG Dream! is a next-generation girls-band multimedia project from Bushiroad, spanning anime, games, and real-life live concerts. The bands featured in the franchise — Poppin’Party, Roselia, Morfonica, RAISE A SUILEN, MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica, and Mugen Dai Myutype (夢限大みゅーたいぷ) — are each formed by the voice cast themselves, who perform live with real instruments.
The project celebrated its 11th anniversary on February 28, 2026, and continues to expand on multiple fronts. The 52-episode mini-anime Ganso! BanG Dream-chan is currently streaming throughout the year. A new theatrical film, BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora — a sequel to the TV anime series BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica — is slated for release in autumn, followed by a sequel TV anime in January 2027. A new rhythm game, BanG Dream! Our Notes, is also in the pipeline.
Story Synopsis
BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita centers on Mugen Dai Myutype and follows a group of girls who are suddenly brought together to debut as a band. Each member has her own distinct personality and talents, but they are far from ready to function as a proper band. The central question driving the story: can they survive — and can the band itself survive?
PV #2 and New Opening Theme
The newly released second PV features footage from the actual series and confirms that the opening theme will be a brand-new Mugen Dai Myutype track titled 「これはぼくたちの生存のあらすじ」 (Kore wa Bokutachi no Seizon no Arasuji). Both the key visual and PV were first revealed at the Mugen Dai Myutype 47 Prefectures Tour “Superposition ~Spin-Up Arc~” Tokyo Show on June 21.
The official website has also updated its STORY page with an introduction to the series, and the CHARACTER page now features profiles for “Myutype” and “Fairy Bouquet (フェアリィブゥケ)”.
