An official English-language X/Twitter account for the game has also been launched.

About Chainsaw Man

The Chainsaw Man manga is the work of Tatsuki Fujimoto, known for Fire Punch. It debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018. The first part — the “Kōan” (Public Safety) arc — concluded in December 2020, and the second part, “Gakkō-hen” (School Arc), launched on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform in July 2022. The second and final part of the manga wrapped up on March 25.

The Anime Series and Film

The television anime series premiered on TV Tokyo and five affiliated channels, as well as on Amazon Prime Video, in October 2022. Crunchyroll streams the series in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, adapting the manga’s Reze Arc, opened in Japan on September 19 and debuted at #1 at the box office. It expanded to U.S. theaters on October 24, and Sony Pictures Entertainment released it digitally on December 9. Crunchyroll is also streaming the film.

Shikaku Arc Anime Also Revealed

Alongside the game announcement, MAPPA used the same livestream to unveil a new teaser video for the upcoming anime adaptation of the manga’s Shikaku Arc (Assassins Arc), giving fans even more to look forward to from the franchise.
