The Charamix project — a new entertainment venture with To LOVEる -とらぶる- creator Yabuki Kentaro serving as Character Producer — has unveiled two new characters and their respective voice actors.
New Characters and Voice Cast
Yomori Ruruka is a hardworking but slightly clumsy girl who loves cheering on anyone striving to do their best. She will be voiced by Endo Rina, who commented: “Ruruka is a girl who has all the motivation in the world but whose skills haven’t quite caught up yet — she’s someone whose efforts don’t always get rewarded. I hope everyone will warmly watch over her as she grows.”
Desuro is a boy who insists he is a genuine Shinigami (death god) and possesses extraordinary combat ability. Like the other characters, he guides people into the world of dreams, though he firmly maintains his Shinigami identity. He will be voiced by Payton Naomi, who said: “I love sleeping so much that I wake up two hours after my alarm goes off, so I’d probably get scolded by Desuro. I’ll work hard alongside him to make everyone fall in love with sleep. Goodnight!”
About Charamix
Charamix operates under the concept of “a future where your favourite characters are by your side every day,” with sleep and dreams as its central themes. The project aims to create new entertainment experiences by combining characters, AI, and behavioural data to help users overcome the challenge of “wanting to keep up a habit but being unable to” — covering areas such as sleep, health, beauty, and learning.

Charamix Talk Event vol.2 in Takachiho University
As part of an industry-academia collaboration with Takachiho University in Tokyo, Charamix will hold Charamix Talk Event vol.2 in Takachiho University on Saturday, October 17, 2026, across two sessions.

- Tickets: ¥5,000 (reserved seating)
Appearing guests include Yabuki Kentaro, Tsukine Kona (Myuna), Endo Rina (Ruruka), Payton Naomi (Desuro), and project readers Maejima Asumi, Natsume Hina, and Iida Hikaru. Note that Natsume Hina will only appear in Session 1, while Iida Hikaru will only appear in Session 2. Early-access ticket sales for official supporter club members begin on August 7 at 12:00 noon.
Charamix Original Sleep Story — 2nd Submission Round
A second round of submissions is now open for the Charamix Original Sleep Story initiative, seeking short-form works intended to be listened to before sleep. Desired themes include heartwarming stories, slightly mysterious dream tales, stories that help listeners greet the next day positively, and stories that ease listeners into a comfortable sleep. Selected works will be produced as narrated audio content by the project’s voice cast for both event performances and distribution via the Charamix app. This round also introduces a new “Free Division” where submitters are not required to nominate a specific voice actor.
