The production team behind the Charisma television anime — officially titled Chōjin-teki Share House Story Charisma (Superhuman Shared Residence Story: Charisma) — has revealed a new key visual and announced additional staff members. The project is a collaboration between Evil Line Records, the label behind Hypnosis Mic, and intellectual property company Dazed.

About the Project
Evil Line Records and Dazed launched the Charisma project in 2021. It centers on 2D characters who each embody a “charisma” — used in its original sense, referring to a divinely gifted elemental trait — while living together in a share house and striving toward even greater ambitions.

Core Staff and Studio
Jōji Furuta, known for directing Bad Girl, ēlDLIVE, Utano☆Princesama Legend Star, and the 2021 Shaman King, is helming the anime at Pierrot Films. Original creator Shū Matsubara is supervising and writing the series scripts. Dazed is credited for the original work alongside Matsubara, while Ebimo is credited for the original character designs. TBS Television serves as production manager.
Premiere and Related Works
The anime is scheduled to debut in January 2027 on TBS.
The franchise has already produced musical releases and live concerts. The four-panel manga Charisma: Kyō mo Heiwa Desu by Rin Manda and Iori Irino ran in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine from January 2023 to December 2024, compiled into two volumes. Additionally, Sō Tobita’s manga Charisma: Charisma na Karera wa Charisma House de Karizumai-chū ran on Kodansha’s Comic Days platform from February to December 2023, also compiled into two volumes.
