The team behind original anime film Cho Kaguya-hime! (超かぐや姫！) has released a Live PV and Live Visual for the upcoming free online live event “Tsukuyomi Kanshasai ~Mechaumai Pancake Party~” (ツクヨミ感謝祭～めちゃうまパンケーキパーティー～).
A Free Live Event in VR Space
Scheduled for December 26, 2026 at 21:00 JST, the Tsukuyomi Kanshasai is a free online event that recreates Tsukuyomi — the virtual space featured in the film — as a full VR environment. The event will feature live performances from the film’s three main characters: Kaguya, Sakayori Ayaha, and Tsukimi Yachiyo.
Amaterasu Costumes Take Center Stage
In the newly released Live PV, all three characters appear in their “Amaterasu Costumes” — the same outfits worn in the music video for “ray Cho Kaguya-hime! Version” — and introduce themselves with their signature catchphrases: “Kaguyahho!” for Kaguya, “Iroppii!” for Sakayori Ayaha, and “Yaoyoroo!” for Tsukimi Yachiyo. The Live Visual, meanwhile, depicts the trio standing on a lavishly decorated stage bathed in colorful lighting.
Streaming & Archive Details
Alongside the visual reveal, streaming details were also announced. The official YouTube channel will begin archiving the broadcast immediately after the December 26 livestream ends. On VRChat, in addition to the main performance, a total of seven archive screenings will be held over the following month.
