To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Code Geass franchise, Megahouse has announced a special re-release of the G.E.M. Series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection — Zero figure. Pre-orders are now open on the Premium Bandai official online store, priced at ¥22,000 (tax included), with shipping scheduled for December 2026.
Two Decades of Code Geass
The Code Geass franchise began with the TV anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, which first aired in 2006. Set in an alternate world where the Holy Britannian Empire has conquered Japan — renaming it “Area 11” — the series follows Lelouch, a young man who acquires the power of absolute obedience known as “Geass” and uses it to wage a rebellion against the empire. The sequel, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, aired nationwide in Japan from April to September 2008, and its shocking finale continues to be talked about to this day.
Since then, the franchise has expanded across numerous media, including the theatrical anime Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, original manga series Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya and Code Geass: Oz the Reflection, as well as musicals, orchestra concerts, exhibitions, games, and collectible figures.
Figure Details
The figure was sculpted by Imai Yu (Arai Kōgyō) and painted by Tc, with thorough supervision from Kimura Takahiro, the original character designer of the series. The result is a high-quality piece in both sculpt and paintwork.
A key feature is the interchangeable face and arm parts, allowing collectors to display Lelouch in four distinct looks:
- Wearing the Zero mask
- Unmasked (bare face)
- Geass activated — one eye
- Geass activated — both eyes
An additional arm part lets you pose the figure holding the mask, further expanding display options. The figure stands approximately 250 mm tall and is made from PVC and ABS materials, recommended for ages 15 and up.
Special 20th Anniversary Packaging
This re-release features an all-new package design and includes a 20th Anniversary bonus: a setting materials booklet from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection, making it a particularly attractive pick-up for long-time fans.
