The character content project 「異世界喫茶 COFFEE STARS」 — which personifies coffee beans from around the world as charming middle-aged baristas — has released its first voice drama, 『異世界喫茶コーヒースターズ ボイスドラマ（1）』. The title went on sale as a digital download via BOOTH on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
About COFFEE STARS
Set in a mysterious “other-world café” that only those in need of a moment’s rest can find, COFFEE STARS features a cast of ikemen-oji (suave, mature) baristas whose personalities embody the characteristics of coffee beans from different producing regions. The project aims to make coffee more approachable and enjoyable by expressing each bean’s flavour profile and origin through character and story.

Volume 1 contains two episodes, each running approximately 28 minutes:
Episode 1 — Brazil Santos No.2
Office worker Kiyoka stumbles into a strange café while wrestling with work troubles. She meets Brazil Santos No.2, a laid-back, effortlessly cool barista whose easy words conceal the knowing gentleness of a man who has tasted both bitterness and sweetness. As he brews her a cup, a single phrase — “You don’t have to be perfect” — slowly unravels the knots in her tired heart.

Episode 2 — Indonesia Mandheling G1
Young man Yoshihiko is adrift, frustrated by a life that refuses to go his way. He wanders into a café and encounters Indonesia Mandheling G1, a bold and powerful master barista whose rough-edged yet warm words — and a cup as deep and direct as Mandheling itself — begin to stir the feelings that have settled at the bottom of his heart. A story of strength for anyone who has come to a standstill in life.

Future Plans
