DVD Rental via TSUTAYA DISCAS from November 25, 2026

The only way to watch the film at home is through the mail-order DVD rental service TSUTAYA DISCAS, which is scheduled to begin renting the title on November 25, 2026 — the same day as the Blu-ray and DVD retail release.

TSUTAYA DISCAS’s main plan, 定額レンタル8ダブル, costs ¥2,200 per month (tax included) and allows up to eight discs per month, shipped two at a time with no return deadline and no shipping fees. A 30-day free trial is available, but new releases like this film are excluded from rental during that trial period. Fans who want to watch as soon as possible should subscribe to the 8ダブル plan and add the title to their list before the November 25 release date.

Blu-ray and DVD Pricing

The Blu-ray and DVD editions go on sale on November 25, 2026, in four configurations:

  • Premium Edition Blu-ray (2-disc set): ¥8,690
  • Premium Edition DVD (2-disc set): ¥7,590
  • Standard Edition Blu-ray: ¥6,820
  • Standard Edition DVD: ¥5,720

The Premium Edition bonus disc includes various promotional videos, the TV spin-off Kaze no Cosplay Rider, and an audio commentary. All editions come with a “10 billion yen milestone” illustration postcard.

Story and Highlights

Set in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district, the film centers on Hagiwara Chihaya, a Kanagawa Prefectural Police traffic officer known as the “Goddess of the Wind.” While Conan and Sera Masumi are heading to the Kanagawa Motorcycle Festival, they encounter a mysterious black motorcycle being pursued by Chihaya. The festival also marks the debut of a cutting-edge police motorcycle called “Angel,” while a shadowy counterpart dubbed “Lucifer” — or the “Black Angel” — makes its appearance. As Chihaya pursues the case, she is haunted by memories of her late brother Hagiwara Kenji and his classmate Matsuda Jinpei.

The film screened at 526 venues nationwide, including IMAX, 4DX, MX4D, and Dolby Cinema formats. It topped the box office for two consecutive weekends and had drawn over 4.22 million admissions and more than ¥6.3 billion in revenue by its second weekend (April 17–19).

Cast and Staff

Special guest voice actors include Yokohama Ryusei as Omae Kazuaki, the engineer behind the “Angel” motorcycle, and Hata Mei as Tateooki Minato, a Kanagawa police officer — marking Hata’s first-ever voice acting role. Recurring characters Hagiwara Kenji, Matsuda Jinpei, and Inspector Yokomizo Shigeto also appear.
