TV anime DIGIMON BEATBREAK is officially entering its final chapter. Beginning with episode 42, airing on August 9, the series kicks off the concluding arc titled “Asuka Hen.” A new key visual for the final chapter has also been released.
Episode 42: “Sakura no Yūjō” (A Friendship of Sakura)
In episode 42, Tomorrow heads to the hospital accompanied by Kyou, who has been longing to see Asuka again after a long absence. Along the way, Kyou begins sharing memories of Asuka that even Tomorrow never knew about — memories that hold the secret behind Cougamon’s birth.
The newly released key visual for the final chapter depicts protagonist Tenma Tomorrow and Gekkoomon reaching out with outstretched hands toward Tenma Asuka, Tomorrow’s older brother, who has fallen into a state known as “Cold Heart.”
Free Catch-Up Screening and Special Anime MV
The official Digimon YouTube channel is offering a limited-time free screening of episodes 38 through 41 — the “Kyou Hen” arc — from August 8 to 14 only.
To celebrate the start of the final chapter, a special anime MV has also been released, condensing the story from episode 1 through 41 into a single video set to the opening theme “Mad Pulse” by MADKID, looking back on the journey of Growing Dawn throughout the series.
