Fans of Haikyuu!! have something new to fuel their training: a second collaboration between the beloved volleyball anime and protein brand be LEGEND has been officially announced. The new product goes on sale on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. JST via be LEGEND’s official online store, as well as Amazon Japan, Rakuten Market, and Yahoo Shopping.
About Haikyuu!!
Haikyuu!! is a manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, following a group of high school boys who pour their hearts into volleyball. The TV anime adaptation launched in 2014, and the theatrical film Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle became a global phenomenon in February 2024, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide. More is on the way in 2027: the film Haikyuu!! VS The Little Giant, pitting Karasuno against Kamomedai, and the special anime Haikyuu!! Bakenomono-tachi no Yukutokoro, depicting the clash between Fukurodani and Mujinazaka.
A Flavor Inspired by Kageyama’s Favorite Drink
The second collab protein features packaging illustrated with Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama — Kageyama setting the ball, Hinata going in for the spike — a design that’s as much fun to display as it is to drink from.
The flavor this time is yogurt, inspired by the “Gungun Yogurt” drink that Kageyama famously sips during breaks. Its gentle, mild sweetness makes it a great entry point for protein newcomers, while still being versatile enough to enjoy at breakfast, as an afternoon snack, or as a post-dinner dessert.
Nutritional Highlights
Adults are generally advised to consume around 60 g of protein per day (men) and 50 g (women), but hitting that target through food alone can be a challenge. Each serving (approximately 20 g) of this product delivers 10 g of protein, along with:
