「破産富豪 The Richest Man in GAME」 is currently available to stream in its Japanese-dubbed version on eight platforms: U-NEXT, DMM TV, Amazon Prime Video, dアニメストア, Hulu, Lemino, FOD, and ABEMA Premium — all offering all 16 episodes as part of their subscription plans.

About the Series

The anime is based on the Chinese web novel 『虧成首富從遊戲開始』 by 青衫取醉, published on 起点中文網. The original Chinese version streamed on bilibili and surpassed 100 million total views. The Japanese-dubbed edition aired on Fuji TV’s “B8station” block beginning October 1, 2025, running for 16 episodes, with additional broadcasts on BSフジ and 北海道文化放送. The Japanese version is produced by フジテレビジョン and bilibili.

Story Synopsis

Pei Chen is an unremarkable salaryman who, after being forced to work late into the night by his boss, suddenly finds his smartphone screen glowing — and wakes up to discover he has time-leaped back to his college days.

A mysterious entity calling itself “Richest” — a so-called “Wealth Conversion System” — appears before the bewildered Chen and offers him a chance to become rich, but with an unusual catch: the more money he loses in business, the more his personal fortune grows. Chen dives into the high-risk game industry in an attempt to rack up losses, but his ventures keep spinning off in unexpectedly successful directions.

The comedy stems from Chen’s repeated attempts to fail spectacularly, only to stumble into success at every turn. The series also functions as a workplace anime, following the growth of Chen’s game company through team-building, new title development, and marketing campaigns.
