The production team behind the Hell Mode – The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing television anime announced an additional cast member and the ending theme song artist for the upcoming second season on Friday.
New Cast Member
Voice actress Yui Horie joins the cast as Maria, a summoned beast who resembles a French doll. She joins a previously announced lineup that includes:
- Takahiro Sakurai as Helmios
- Reiji Kawashima as Keel
- Kiyono Yasuno as Sophialohne
- Hikaru Midorikawa as Volmaar
- Miyu Tomita as Meruru
- Taketora as Dverg
- Shinichirō Miki as Theodojiil
Theme Songs
Romanha Marshmallow performs the opening theme “○✕△□”, while ChoQMay handles the ending theme “Firetail.”
Staff
The core staff from Season 1 returns in full. Masato Tamagawa directs once again at Yokohama Animation Lab, Daishiro Tanimura oversees series scripts, and Kei Tsushima handles character design. Music is composed by Misaki Tsuchida, Junko Nakajima, Reiko Abe, Moyu Kanazaki, Kaho Sawada, Kanade Sakuma, BeauDamian, and Tsugumi Tanaka, joined this season by Shūichirō Fukuhiro, Mayo Kurihara, and Shin Miki.
Broadcast Details
Season 2 premieres on Tokyo MX on July 3 at 25:00 (effectively July 4 at 1:00 a.m.), with additional broadcasts on MBS, BS NTV, and AT-X.
About the Source Material
Author Hamuo began serializing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in November 2019, with the story still ongoing. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the print edition in July 2020. A manga adaptation by Tetta has been running in Comic Earth Star since October 2020.
