The TV anime Hotel Inhumans Season 2 has announced that voice actor Chiba Shoya will portray guest character Yoda Subaru, making his debut in Episode 14, scheduled to air on October 4, 2026.
About Yoda Subaru
Subaru is a high school student who transfers to the same school as Kozaki Kanashi, a piano prodigy. Despite being a complete beginner, he approaches Kanashi’s one-man piano club and asks to join, saying he wants to learn to play.
Episode 14 – “Piano Lesson 1”
In the episode arc “request ‘Piano Lesson'”, Kanashi finds himself roped into coaching Subaru on a piano duet. The two quickly hit it off, discovering they have a lot in common. Kanashi confides in Subaru that his father — under public suspicion of embezzlement — plans to attend a recital Kanashi has coming up in a month. Rather than dwelling on the matter, Subaru brushes it off and encourages Kanashi instead. When Subaru later walks off alone through the city, he disappears into the doors of Hotel Inhumans — a hotel that caters exclusively to assassins.

A promotional trailer for the “Piano Lesson” arc has been released alongside preview stills and a synopsis for Episode 14. The trailer features the main cast, including Kobayashi Yusuke as concierge Hoshi Kiraro, Shirohama Tonanono as Haisaki Sara, and Hitsujimiya Hina as Kirihara Shiba.
