Starting October 1, Shogakukan’s web manga platform Fura-Comi like! has launched a month-long special feature dedicated to manga artist Kawamaru Shin, known for works such as Suit ni Seiheki and Yano Junkyouju no Risei to Yokujou.
10-Question Quiz with Exclusive Rewards
The centerpiece of the event is a 10-question quiz based on Kawamaru’s currently serialized title in Betsufura magazine, Namonaki Mamono to Futari no Kishi ~Soshite Konyakusha wa Konwaku suru~ (The Nameless Monster and Two Knights ~And the Fiancée is Bewildered~). All participants will receive a special drawn-down illustration by Kawamaru Shin, while those who answer every question correctly will earn 200 points redeemable on Fura-Comi like!. Additionally, sharing quiz results on X (Twitter) enters participants into a raffle for an illustrated mug.
Free Chapters Available
The feature also makes select volumes of several Kawamaru Shin titles available to read for free, including:
- Namonaki Mamono to Futari no Kishi ~Soshite Konyakusha wa Konwaku suru~
- Suit ni Seiheki
- Yano Junkyouju no Risei to Yokujou
- Ohayou, Oyasumi, Aishiteru.
On top of that, a daily release project will drop one chapter per day spotlighting the glasses-wearing male characters that have become a signature of Kawamaru’s art style. The special runs throughout October on Fura-Comi like!
