The staff of the TV anime based on Nachi Aono‘s manga I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day, also known by its Japanese title Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai, has released its second promotional video and a new key visual, revealed theme song details, and confirmed that the anime will premiere on July 7.
Theme Songs
The new promotional video previews both theme songs for the series. The opening theme is “Amore” by ReoNa, while the ending theme is “Eternel”, a French word meaning “eternal,” by sajou no hana.
Broadcast Schedule
The anime will premiere on July 7 on AT-X at 9:30 p.m. Japan time. It will then air on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 at 12:30 a.m., which falls in the early hours of July 8.
Synopsis
At the mysterious orphanage where Sheena lives, death is nothing unusual. The orphaned girls are trained to become weapons of war and taught to kill without hesitation. Sheena alone wants the fighting around her to end.
One night, after her roommate dies, Sheena meets a mysterious girl whose body is covered in blood, yet who smiles calmly amid the chaos. The next day, that same girl appears as a new student in Sheena’s class and introduces herself as Mimi. Rumors say she is the orphanage’s “secret weapon,” an immortal who cannot die. When Mimi becomes Sheena’s new roommate, Sheena’s world changes completely. She must live with someone who loves death and welcomes it, while the only thing Sheena wants is to stop it.

The anime is produced by studio ROLL2 and directed by Yasushi Tomoda. School idol project and Sound! Euphonium, handles series composition and scripts. Kyoko Yufu, whose credits include Delicious Party Precure and Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles, designs the characters. Yukari Hashimoto, known for March comes in like a lion and Sarazanmai, composes the music. Infinite is credited as producer, with EVOLROAR providing product support.

About the Original Manga
The original manga by Nachi Aono began serialization in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2018 and continues on the Ichijin Plus website. Volume 9 is scheduled for release on July 16, and a special short-story collection was released on January 29.
