A Season III of the TV anime Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen (also known as Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World) has been officially announced.
About the Series
The series follows Iska, a swordsman of a technologically advanced empire, and Aliceliese, the second princess of the Nebulis Sovereignty who wields spirit arts — two people from warring nations who find themselves drawn to each other. The story is based on the light novel series by Hosomichi Kei, published by KADOKAWA under the Fantasia Bunko label, with original character designs by Nekonabe Ao. Season I aired from October to December 2020, and Season II ran from April to June 2025.
Teaser Visual
The teaser visual for Season III was newly drawn by character designer Yoshikawa Kaori. It depicts Iska and Rin as they prepare to infiltrate the empire to rescue Sisbell, alongside an image of Aliceliese wearing an expression of concern for the two — in more ways than one.
Author’s Comment
“It’s finally been announced — Season III is in production! I’m truly moved to be able to share this moment with the fans, staff, and cast. As the original author, I’m so happy that the story continuing from Season II will be seen as an anime. Thank you so much! That said, production is still ongoing, so I ask for your warm patience. Season II featured a major battle for Iska and Alice, and great upheaval for the Nebulis Sovereignty. Season III has an even larger-scale development in store, along with episodes that get to the very heart of the story. Please look forward to it!” — Hosomichi Kei
