ซีนะกอดมิมิที่บาดเจ็บในตอนที่ 6 ของ Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai

Summer 2026 anime Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai (I Want to Fall in Love Until You Die) aired its sixth episode, titled “Okaeri” (Welcome Home), on August 11, 2026. The episode delivered a rollercoaster of emotions — from a horror-tinged package scene to a shocking duel announcement that has fans deeply unsettled.

The Mysterious Delivery

With Mimi away at the front lines, Sheena waits anxiously for her return. When she heads to the room where upperclassmen are recovering from battle, she finds it packed with the wounded — fans reacted with comments like “it’s basically a field hospital” and “absolute chaos in there.”

School nurse Fran tells Sheena to wait in the back room. A knock comes at the outer door, and in Fran’s absence Sheena answers it. A man hands over a large, extremely heavy bag, saying only: “Tell Fran I collected it as usual,” then leaves.

Viewers immediately suspected what was inside, even as Sheena remained oblivious. When the bag started moving on its own, Sheena’s legs gave out. Fans screamed in unison: “Don’t open it! Whatever you do, don’t open it!” and “This is straight-up horror.”

Before Sheena could open it, a familiar voice came from within. Inside the bag was Mimi — covered in blood. She shakily rose, slowly healing herself with her own magic, and lit up when she spotted Sheena, insisting “Mimi’s not hurt!” despite her obvious injuries. Unable to hide the wounds, she apologized: “Sorry I couldn’t keep the promise you asked of me.” Sheena burst into tears and threw her arms around her.

“Good thing she was still in one piece today… (not that that’s really ‘good’)” / “A bloodied Mimi crawling out of a bag is lowkey terrifying” / “I expected worse, but she’s actually in decent shape”

“Mimi’s Art Style” — A Comedic Break

As the two sobbed together, Sheena apologized for asking Mimi not to get hurt, saying “I was the one who didn’t understand.” Mimi replied that she was happy Sheena had said it anyway, making Sheena cry even harder. When Fran walked in and deadpanned “What are you two doing?” — the art style abruptly shifted to a simplified, almost chibi aesthetic.

Even original manga author Aono Nachi posted on social media: “I burst out laughing — it suddenly looked like Mimi drew it herself.” Fans were equally baffled and amused: “Why go deformed right there??” and “We were just in a serious scene!”

The War Situation and a New Flower Crown

Episode 6 marks the first time the broader war situation is addressed directly: the front is expanding, the enemy is reinforcing, and relying solely on Mimi is no longer sustainable. The teachers discuss how to increase combat strength, with fans noting “even with Mimi, the situation is dire.”

After cleaning up, Mimi and Sheena skip class and head behind the school building, where Mimi discovers the flower crown Sheena made for her has been crushed. Sheena takes her to the courtyard and lets her pick her favorite flowers for a new one.

“Please bloom for as long as you can, healthy and bright. No matter how hurt you get, may you always be able to smile again. If there’s a reason for me to be alive here, it must be——” Sheena thinks to herself, as Mimi smiles back with her brightest grin. Animation studio ROLL2 shared the key animation for that smile after the episode aired.

The Duel: Mimi vs. Seiran

Class 14 homeroom teacher Omi calls Mimi and classmate Lizzy Seiran in and informs Seiran that she will undergo a combat aptitude test on the next day off — a one-on-one duel with an upperclassman to determine whether she is ready for the battlefield. Since no senior students were available this time, Omi announces that Mimi will serve as the upperclassman stand-in.

The news blindsided viewers as much as it did Seiran: “A duel anime now?!” / “Does Mimi really have to take on that role?” / “The emotional gap between the two of them is painful to watch.”

When Mimi cheerfully drops the bombshell at the cafeteria — “Listen, listen! Mimi gets to duel Seiran!” — Sheena sputters in shock, the room falls silent, and Seiran declares firmly: “I chose to take this test myself!”

Seiran’s Resolve

That night, Seiran’s roommate Ari points out that letting emotions create hesitation is Seiran’s weakness, and that the test will measure whether she can fight — with killing intent — against a classmate she eats meals with every day. Ari promises to train with her.

Seiran was once found near death in a slum by one of the teachers. Without the school, she would have died alone as a child and never met Ari. “Everything I am now is because of this school. I want to be useful. I want to properly repay that debt” — and for that, she will fight anyone.

Fans found the situation deeply uncomfortable: “Repaying kindness by going to war…” / “Everyone was plucked from death, only to be sent back toward it” / “I have nothing but bad feelings about this.”

Seiran resolves to cut off contact with both Mimi and Sheena until the test is over, and begins intensive magic training with Ari. Thai co-production studio Midasu Studio also released behind-the-scenes animation footage after the broadcast.
