To mark the broadcast premiere of TV anime Kore Kaite Shine (これ描いて死ね), nine celebrated manga artists contributed support illustrations and comments, published on the anime’s official X account beginning June 24.
Nine Manga Artists Show Their Support
The contributing artists are Soichiro Yamamoto, Daijiro Morohoshi, Ryoji Minagawa, Kazuhiro Fujita, Hiroyuki Nishimori, Rumiko Takahashi, Kazuhiko Shimamoto, Mitsuru Adachi, and Gosho Aoyama — a lineup that reads like a who’s who of manga history.

About the Series
Based on the manga by Minoru Toyoda, Kore Kaite Shine follows Ai Ankai, a first-year high school student living on Izu Oshima Island who loves manga. The story traces her growth as she experiences both the joy and the anguish of creating her own work — a “manga × high school girl coming-of-age” story full of heart and passion.
The anime premieres on July 3, 2026 on NTV and 30 affiliated stations nationwide, airing every Friday at 23:30 in the Fura Ani programming block. AT-X will begin broadcasting from July 10, 2026 at 22:30.
Streaming is available via U-NEXT, Anime Houdai, Lemino, and Anime Times from July 3, 2026 at 24:00 (first episode at 24:05).
