Square Enix released Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Kyuuten-hen manga volume 1 on July 27. The series is a manga adaptation of the “Kyuuten-hen” arc, which originates in volume 27 of Satou Tsutomu‘s light novel series Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School).
Art for the manga is handled by Kitaumi Tsuna, with story composition credited to Hayashi Fumino and Nagaoka Chiaki.
Synopsis
Set in the year 2097, Mizuka reflects on her relationship with Mitsugu, who has become a Parasite, while recovering in hospital. Meanwhile, Tatsuya predicts that the missing Mitsugu will use the military conflict between the Great Asian Alliance and the New Soviet Union as cover to re-infiltrate the capital region.
