The manga Mama (Fenrir) no Kitai wa Omosugiru! (“My Mom the Fenrir’s Expectations Are Way Too High!”) launched its first compiled volume on July 13, 2026. The series is drawn by Mokuhachi and adapts the original novel by Hitoki, currently serialized in Young King Lambda.
Story
Sally is a young human girl who has been reincarnated into a fantasy world and raised by a Fenrir she calls “Mama.” Despite living a happy life in the forest, Sally is still considered a greenhorn compared to her older Fenrir siblings — even though she can already knock out a Wyvern, a creature that terrifies all the other forest animals, with a single punch.
The bar, however, is set much higher by her mother. Mama Fenrir insists that, as her daughter, Sally should be able to “easily defeat an ancient dragon” — a level of expectation that Sally finds crushingly heavy. The series follows her daily life under this overwhelming parental pressure.
