The production team behind TV anime Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu 2 has released the series’ second promotional video, along with full details on its opening and ending theme songs.
What’s in the New PV
The series follows Leon Fou Bartfort, a former office worker reincarnated into the world of an otome game, who must use his knowledge of the game’s story to survive in a society where women hold absolute dominance over men. The new PV showcases Leon being imprisoned on charges of treason against the state, a web of conspiracies and political intrigue, and high-octane mecha battles featuring Leon’s armored unit Arroganz alongside a full naval fleet.
Theme Songs
The opening theme, 「人生エンドロール」 (Jinsei Endroll), is performed by music unit Ando, a trio consisting of Takeyaki Sho, Hirose Daisuke, and ANCHOR. A preview of the track has been included in the PV.
The ending theme, 「あしたはあしたのけせらせら！」 (Ashita wa Ashita no Ke Sera Sera!), is performed by music group Meishō Hikōkai (名称非公開). The song was composed by ANCHOR.
Artist Comments
Ando
Takeyaki Sho said he has been drawn to the series since Season 1, particularly its theme of “the strength to keep fighting back against an unreasonable world.” He noted a personal connection to Leon’s rebellious spirit through his own unconventional career on YouTube, and said he tried to channel that resolve and emotional turbulence into the song’s sense of momentum.
Hirose Daisuke described the track as a fast-paced band sound packed with lyrics that reflect the world of the anime, expressing hope that the song will help viewers immerse themselves even deeper in the story.
ANCHOR noted that this is Ando’s first-ever anime theme song, calling it an overwhelming mix of joy and nerves. He also revealed that he composed the ED for Meishō Hikōkai, and encouraged fans to enjoy both the OP and ED alongside the anime.
Meishō Hikōkai
The members of Meishō Hikōkai said the entire group erupted in excitement when they received the offer to perform the ending theme. The song represents a new genre for them, and they described the recording process as genuinely fun. The finished track is an energetic, upbeat number intended to cheer on the characters even through difficult scenes. They also noted that ANCHOR has hidden words and character names from the anime within the lyrics as Easter eggs.
