Bandai’s official Gundam apparel label STRICT-G has announced three new Fleece Snap Pullovers inspired by the classic TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム). The items go on general sale on 14 November 2026, while pre-orders open on the STRICT-G Online Store within Premium Bandai starting 29 October 2026 at 13:00 JST.
About Mobile Suit Gundam
First broadcast in 1979, Mobile Suit Gundam is the origin point of the entire Gundam franchise. Set in Universal Century 0079, the story follows Amuro Ray, a teenager from Side 7 who is thrust into the war between the Principality of Zeon and the Earth Federation, eventually becoming the pilot of the Federation’s mobile suit “Gundam” and growing through countless battles.
Three Designs
The lineup consists of three colorways, each referencing an iconic element of the series:
- White Base — themed after the Federation’s flagship vessel
- Black Tri-Stars — themed after Zeon’s elite trio of ace pilots
- Red Comet — themed after the signature color of Char Aznable
All three feature a relaxed stand-snap collar silhouette with embroidered patches on both chest panels. A spindle hem allows wearers to adjust the silhouette freely, and the oversized cut works equally well for casual city wear or outdoor activities. Sizes run from M to XXL.
