The summer anime Mushoku Tensei III ～Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu～ has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 7, titled “Fourth Stage” (第四段階), set to air from Sunday, August 9, 2026.
About the Series
Mushoku Tensei ～Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu～ is a landmark isekai fantasy light novel by Rifujin na Magonote, widely regarded as one of the defining works of the genre, with a cumulative series circulation of over 18 million copies. The story follows a 34-year-old shut-in — unemployed, socially withdrawn, and addicted to games and the internet — who dies in a traffic accident only to be reborn as a baby in a world of swords and magic. Taking the name Rudeus Greyrat, he resolves to live life seriously this time, drawing on his past-life memories and regrets as he faces new encounters and trials.
Following Season 1 (January 2021) and Season 2 (July 2023), a grown Rudeus has overcome countless hardships and begun building a new family. Season 3 is directed by Ryosuke Shibuya and produced by Studio Bind, delving deeper into his journey.

At the graduation ceremony of Ranoa Magic University, Linia and Pursena attend as graduates. Nanahoshi continues her dedicated research into summoning objects from other worlds, while Norn receives an invitation from Ariel to join the student council. Those around Rudeus are each moving forward along their own paths. Amid all this, Nanahoshi approaches Rudeus with a certain proposal…
