Fans of My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア) have plenty to look forward to: Animate has announced a wave of new merchandise alongside a nationwide fair event, both kicking off on August 8, 2026.
About My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is a hero-action manga by Kōhei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for over a decade, with the comic series surpassing 100 million copies in circulation worldwide. Set in a world where roughly 80% of the population possesses a superhuman ability called a “Quirk,” the story follows Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his classmates at UA High School as they train, fight, and forge friendships on the road to becoming professional heroes.
The anime launched its first season in April 2016 and ran through its FINAL SEASON for a total of 8 seasons and 170 episodes, plus four theatrical films. In 2026, the 10th-anniversary project “My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary” got underway. On May 2, the special episode No.170＋1 “More”—an anime adaptation of a newly drawn episode from the final manga volume—aired. A new short anime special, “I am a hero too,” based on a one-shot manga from the official fanbook, has also been announced and is slated for release this summer.
New Travel-Themed Merchandise
The new product lineup features all-new original artwork depicting Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, All Might, and Shota Aizawa enjoying a trip together. Items include:

Additional new products will also be available as part of the collection.
Nationwide Local Cheering Fair
From August 8 to 30, 2026, all Animate stores nationwide and the Animate online shop will host the “Anime My Hero Academia Nationwide Local Cheering Fair.” During the fair, customers who purchase or pre-order eligible My Hero Academia-related merchandise (including Vigilante -My Hero Academia ILLEGALS- items) will receive a pennant-style sticker (one of 6 designs) as a bonus gift. Designs cannot be chosen.
Bonus gift conditions:
- One sticker per ¥1,100 (tax included) spent on eligible character goods purchases or pre-orders
- One sticker per eligible audio-visual product purchased or pre-ordered (minimum ¥1,100 deposit required)
- One sticker per Gratte food/drink item or paid bonus item purchased or pre-ordered (full payment required)
Gratte Collaboration
Running concurrently (August 8–30, 2026), Animate Cafe Gratte locations across Japan will offer a special My Hero Academia menu:
- Graphic Latte (6 designs) — Eat-in ¥660 / Takeout ¥648 (tax included)
- Icing Cookie (6 designs) — Eat-in ¥605 / Takeout ¥594 (tax included)
- Graphic Ice (6 designs) — Eat-in ¥750 / Takeout ¥736 (tax included)
Graphic Latte and Icing Cookie will be available at Animate Ikebukuro (main store), Akihabara ANNEX, Shibuya, Kichijoji Parco, Yokohama Vivre, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka Nipponbashi, Umeda, and Okayama. Graphic Ice will be served at Animate Shibuya, Kichijoji Parco, Sendai, and Umeda. Cookie pop-up sales will take place at a number of additional locations including Takasaki, Omiya, Machida, Chiba, Sapporo, Nagano, Shizuoka Parco, Niigata, Sannomiya, Kyoto, Fukuoka Parco, Hiroshima, Kawasaki, and POP@P CAFE -KYOTO-/Animate Cafe Gratte+.
For each Gratte menu item ordered, customers may add a Trading Acrylic Coaster (one of 6 designs) for an extra ¥500 (tax included). Designs cannot be chosen.
