Penguin Box has unveiled the full exhibition layout and merchandise lineup for 「おでかけ子ザメ展 おもてなSEAツアー」(Odekake Kozame-ten: Omotena-SEA Tour), the very first exhibition event for the beloved Odekake Kozame series, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
Opening at Matsuya Ginza on 22 July 2026
The exhibition runs from 22 July to 11 August 2026 at the 8th-floor Event Square of Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo, open daily from 11:00 to 20:00. On the final day (11 August), the venue closes at 17:00, with last entry 30 minutes before closing.
Alongside the announcement, two new teaser visuals were revealed: an Anko-chan version and an Usame-chan version.
Exhibition Highlights
Visitors will be greeted at the entrance by a life-size standing figure of Kozame-chan. The main area, titled 「子ザメちゃんとおでかけ！わくわく町めぐり」, lets guests experience the atmosphere of the various towns Kozame-chan has visited throughout the series, decorated with newly drawn illustrations by Penguin Box.
- A giant fluffy Usame-chan panel and a dedicated plushie photo corner (ぬい撮りコーナー)
- A 「夜魚町」(Yosakana-machi) zone where visitors can actually draw omikuji (fortune slips) at Kitsune-chan’s shrine
- A behind-the-scenes creation zone featuring rare original materials, drawing process videos by Penguin Box, and a look at how the books and anime were made
- Newly recorded voice lines from the original cast — Hanazawa Kana (Kozame-chan), Han Megumi (Anko-chan), and Kuno Misaki (Usame-chan) — playing throughout the venue
Exclusive Merchandise
The exhibition shop will carry a wide range of goods featuring newly drawn illustrations, including plushies, face badges, die-cut stickers, trading embroidered can badges, and T-shirts. Customers who spend 5,000 yen (tax included) or more will receive one original mini can badge at random from a set of 17 designs.
A collaboration café will also be held at MG Café inside Matsuya Ginza during the exhibition period; further details will be announced at a later date.
