Fans of the beloved magical-girl series Ojamajo Doremi have something to look forward to: Animate is releasing a brand-new merchandise line on 16 October 2026, featuring specially commissioned original artwork under the theme “Wa Modern♪” (和もだん♪) — a playful blend of traditional Japanese aesthetics and contemporary style.
About Ojamajo Doremi
Ojamajo Doremi is a four-year anime series that aired on Asahi Broadcasting and TV Asahi from 1999. The show follows young witch-apprentices Doremi, Hazuki, and Aiko as they undergo magical training to become full-fledged witches. Over the course of the series, fan-favourite characters Onpu, Momoko, and Hana-chan also join the cast.

All items in the new line use newly drawn illustrations depicting all six main characters — Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, Momoko, and Hana — dressed in elegant Japanese-style outfits with a modern twist.

Animate Fair
Select Animate stores will also hold an Ojamajo Doremi Animate Fair from 16 October to 1 November 2026. For every ¥1,100 (tax included) spent on Ojamajo Doremi character goods during the event period, shoppers will receive one original illustration card (six designs in total).
