The upcoming spinoff anime ONE PIECE HEROINES — spotlighting the beloved heroines of the ONE PIECE universe — has announced its first-ever collaboration with Japanese ladies’ footwear and bag brand Diana. The centrepiece of the partnership is a real, wearable sandal inspired by the “battle sandal” worn by Nami in the show.
Background
ONE PIECE, the manga by Eiichiro Oda, launched in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 34 on 22 July 1997 and has since surpassed 600 million copies in worldwide circulation as of 4 March 2026. The TV anime’s Elbaf arc began airing on 5 April 2026, while ONE PIECE HEROINES is scheduled to premiere on 5 July 2026. The Netflix live-action adaptation also returned with Season 2 on 10 March 2026.
The collaboration came about because Diana provided production assistance — sharing expertise on shoe-making processes — to the HEROINES animation team. That behind-the-scenes relationship evolved into a full consumer product partnership.
The Sandal Design
The collab sandal features striking ocean-blue satin fabric, Diana’s signature elegant heel silhouette, and a scattering of large and small sparkling stones. An anklet matching the one seen on Nami in the anime is included in the package. A specially drawn original illustration of Nami, created exclusively for this collaboration, serves as the key visual for the campaign.
