The official X/Twitter account for Continuer, the boys-love manga label under WWWave Corporation, announced on August 12 that Umiko Seto‘s manga Osake ni Yowai Andō-san (The Alcohol-Lightweight Andō-san) is receiving an anime adaptation on the AnimeFesta platform. No further details were disclosed alongside the announcement, though Seto drew a special illustration to mark the occasion.
Story
The manga follows Andō, a serious and no-nonsense systems engineer whose stoic demeanor has resisted every attempt by his co-worker Kikuchi to coax out a smile over the course of a year. Everything changes when Kikuchi stumbles upon Andō’s surprising weakness for alcohol, revealing a clumsy, cheerful, and unexpectedly seductive side to the man he thought he knew.
Manga Publication
Seto launched the manga on WWWave Corporation’s ComicFesta website under the Continuer label in October 2024. Publisher Suiseisha released the first compiled volume in November 2025, with the second volume scheduled for September 18.
