Manga artist Marunouchi Gokko‘s new series Oyasumi Hilda launched its first collected volume on October 15, 2026, published by Akita Shoten.
Story
The series follows Harman, a demon king who has lived for ten thousand years, and Hilda, a human woman with a fleeting lifespan. Despite the vast difference in their species and the time each has left in the world, the two are deeply in love, and the manga chronicles the small, tender moments of their everyday life together.
The series originated as Hilda to Harman, which Marunouchi Gokko serialized on their own X (formerly Twitter) account. It has since been completely redrawn as an all-new work and is currently serialized in the magazine Souffle.

To celebrate the volume’s release, participating retailers — including Kikuya Shoten, Melonbooks, Kinokuniya Shoten, and select “Ouen Shoten” partner stores — will distribute a special paper insert to buyers.
Additionally, handwritten colored illustrations (直筆色紙) by Marunouchi Gokko will be displayed at the following locations:

A lottery campaign printed on the volume’s obi (belly band) gives buyers a chance to win one of 100 acrylic stands featuring original artwork by Marunouchi Gokko. Entries close on November 30.
A separate campaign on X offers fans the chance to win a hand-signed color proof or colored illustration directly from the artist.
