Volume 1 of the manga Game ga Susumu ni Tsurete Dondon Yakume ga Nakunatte Iku Nōkin Kyara ni Tensei Shita Ore wa, Soredemo Butsuri wo Kiwameru Koto ni Shita — loosely, “I Reincarnated as a Brute-Force Character Who Gets More Useless as the Game Goes On, But I’ve Decided to Master Physical Combat Anyway” — went on sale on October 8, 2026, published by Kodansha.
The series is based on an original story by Shinkōsei, with story composition by Manzai Ichi and art by Yaguruma Shima. It runs serialized on the Magazine Pocket platform.
Story
The protagonist, Muscular, suddenly regains memories of his past life and realizes he has been reincarnated as a character from his favorite game, Rumor Fantasia. The catch: Muscular is a pure physical-attack fighter who becomes increasingly irrelevant as the game progresses, earning the mocking nickname “Minister of Potion-Throwing” — an outcast character with almost no role in the late game.
Forced into a harsh life in the slums and surrounded by injustice at every turn, Muscular begins to awaken a natural-born talent. Determined to push physical combat to its absolute limits, he sets out to solve every obstacle — no matter how unfair or difficult — with nothing but his fists.
