The production team behind TV anime Sayonara Lala (さよならララ) has released preview stills, an episode synopsis, and a web trailer for the series’ first episode.
Episode 1 Synopsis — “Mermaid Princess Lala”
The first episode is subtitled “Mermaid Princess Lala.” Lala, a mermaid princess born to the king of the sea, one day falls in love with a human living on land — a romance that is strictly forbidden in the world of mermaids. The web trailer was produced with narration by Hishikawa Kana, the voice actress behind Lala.
Special Screening at Shinjuku Unica Vision
In honor of June 30 being designated “Mermaid Day,” a series of three consecutive special videos for Sayonara Lala will be screened on the Unica Vision display in Shinjuku, Tokyo from June 30 through July 6. Director Koide Takashi oversaw production of the footage, which depicts mermaids swimming through an urban sea.
