An official website went live this week to announce that Fiok Lee‘s manga Seven Sleeping Beauties (Shichinin no Nemuri-hime) is getting a television anime adaptation, scheduled to premiere in 2027. The site debuted a super teaser visual alongside the full main cast and key staff lineup. Lee also drew a special commemorative illustration to mark the occasion.
Story
The manga is set in the small kingdom of Amaryllis, whose people have been plunged into sleep by a witch’s curse. Alec, the third prince of a neighboring kingdom, travels to Amaryllis to rescue its inhabitants and princess. Upon arriving to wake the princess, he discovers there are actually seven princesses — and none of them will awaken until he kisses each one.

About the Manga
Lee launched Seven Sleeping Beauties in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine in March 2023. The first compiled volume was released in August 2023, and the 12th volume is scheduled to go on sale on July 16.
