The production team behind the TV anime The New Prince of Tennis U-17 World Cup: Finals Member Selection (「新テニスの王子様 U-17 WORLD CUP 決勝メンバー決定戦」), based on the manga by Takeshi Konomi, has unveiled the series’ official key visual and promotional video.

The key visual features protagonist Ryoma Echizen alongside fellow Japan national team members Shuusuke Fuji and Keigo Atobe. The PV offers a first look at the intra-team matches Japan must play to determine who earns a spot in the U-17 World Cup final.

Four New Cast Members for Spain’s National Team

Four voice actors have been announced for members of Spain’s national team, who will face Japan in the final:

• Yu Hatanaka as Julio Román
• Reiji Kawashima as Mars de Colón
• Ryuho Nagaoka as Silva Serra Bambieri
• Megumi Han as Ceda

All four actors also shared comments about joining the project.

Yu Hatanaka (Julio Román)

I never imagined I’d get to be part of Prince of Tennis — I’m incredibly nervous, but Julio Román is such a compelling character. I’ll do my best to bring out his brilliance, like the Spanish sun.

Reiji Kawashima (Mars de Colón)

I’m genuinely thrilled to be part of the “Tenipuri” legacy, which burns with an energy beyond all common sense. I’ve been wrestling hard with how to portray someone as beautiful as Mars. I’ll give everything I have to deliver tennis that is both passionate and stunning — please look forward to it!

Ryuho Nagaoka (Silva Serra Bambieri)

I was overjoyed when I heard I’d been cast as Bambieri. It’s an honour to join the world of Prince of Tennis, which has been cherished by so many for so long. Bambieri is taciturn and cool on the surface, yet I sense a fierce fire burning within him. I’ve treasured that quality in my performance, so I hope you’ll look forward to his appearance!

Megumi Han (Ceda)

Being part of Prince of Tennis has been my dream since childhood — a dream that grew to include my closest friends. I went into the audition feeling this might be my last chance, and I’m so proud to be involved as Ceda in the Spain arc that has set my heart ablaze. I’m deeply grateful for every connection that led me here, and I’m so happy to be working alongside Junko Minagawa and all the other wonderful senior cast members.

Broadcast Information

The series follows Japan’s national team as they battle each other in selection matches to decide who will represent the country against Spain in the U-17 World Cup final. It premieres on September 30, 2026, airing every Wednesday at 24:00 on TV Tokyo, 25:35 on TV Osaka, and 25:30 on TV Aichi.
