Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games have revealed the title and a debut video for their previously teased new entry in the Senran Kagura franchise. The game is officially called Shinobi Nexus: Senran Kagura.
Game Details
Described as a “hyper shinobi battle” game, Shinobi Nexus: Senran Kagura will be free to play with optional paid in-game items. Character designs are handled by Nan Yaegashi. The game is set to launch on iOS, Android, and PC via DMM Games sometime this year. Pre-registration is currently open on DMM Games and the App Store, with Google Play pre-registration opening in the coming days.
Story Setting
The game takes place three years after the events of Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link, introducing an entirely new cast of shinobi girls attending a brand-new school.
Franchise Background
Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link originally launched in November 2017 and ended its online service in May 2025, subsequently transitioning to an offline version.
Marvelous established Honey∞Parade Games as a dedicated subsidiary in May 2017 to oversee the production and promotion of the Senran Kagura series.
The most recent console entry in the franchise is Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars, a crossover action RPG with Compile Heart’s Hyperdimension Neptunia series. It launched on PlayStation 4 in October 2021, followed by Nintendo Switch in April 2022 and PC via Steam in May 2022.
