A collaboration event between Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) Season 2 and JR Tokai’s “Oshi-Tabi” tourism campaign has been officially announced. Titled 「JR東海×TVアニメ「その着せ替え人形は恋をする」Season 2 ~その着せ替え人形は旅をする~」, the event runs from July 31 to September 27, 2026, with activities taking place aboard the Tokaido Shinkansen and at select locations in Nagoya.
About the Series
Based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda, serialized in Young Gangan, My Dress-Up Darling is a romantic comedy centered on Wakana Gojo, a high school boy aspiring to become a traditional hina doll craftsman, and Marin Kitagawa, the popular girl in his class who shares an unexpected secret with him — a love of cosplay. The manga concluded in March 2025 with 15 collected volumes.
The first TV anime season aired from January to March 2022 to widespread acclaim, and Season 2 followed from July to September 2025. Himena Naota voices Marin Kitagawa, while Shoya Ishige voices Wakana Gojo.
Exclusive Shinkansen Content
Passengers riding the Tokaido Shinkansen during the event period can access a special website on board to listen to an original voice drama — newly recorded exclusively for this campaign — featuring Marin and Wakana.
- Listening to the voice drama unlocks a random smartphone wallpaper (one of four designs), distributed one per person per day with no repeats until all four have been collected.
- A boarding certificate (乗車証明) issued upon listening can be presented at Animate Nagoya to receive a special two-fold clear file. Certificates are valid until 23:59 the following day (on the final day, September 27, same-day only).
Digital Stamp Rally in Nagoya
A digital stamp rally invites participants to visit five checkpoints across Nagoya city, where they can listen to a newly recorded original voice story and take AR photos with special shutter sound effects at each location. Collecting all five stamps and visiting Animate Nagoya earns a set of four original postcards.
