An official website for the SSS-Class Revival Hunter anime opened this week, confirming that the web novel by Sinnoa and the webtoon illustrated by Neida are receiving an anime adaptation. The series is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
Crunchyroll announced it will stream the anime worldwide, excluding Asia, with availability extending to the Indian subcontinent, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia. A teaser trailer with English subtitles has already been released.
Staff
The anime is being produced at STUDIO fu. Hiroaki Sakurai (The Demon Girl Next Door) is directing, Sayuri Ōba (Romantic Killer) is handling series composition, and Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Trigun) is designing the characters.

Story
A mysterious tower teeming with monsters suddenly appears, luring Hunters who risk their lives in pursuit of glory and riches. Gongja Kim, a feeble F-rank Hunter, spends his days consumed by envy of the Flame Emperor — the undisputed top Hunter. His shot at greatness finally comes when he teams up with the Sword Emperor and acquires a rare S-rank skill. The catch: he must die to activate it.

The original web novel launched in November 2018, followed by the webtoon in December 2020. Tapas publishes the English edition of the webtoon.
