Fans of Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム) have something new to look forward to. Apparel brand STRICT-G has announced three new embroidered T-shirts inspired by iconic mobile suits from the classic series, now available for pre-order through the Premium Bandai official online store starting July 17, 2026.
A Franchise Over 45 Years in the Making
The Gundam Series launched in 1979 with the original Mobile Suit Gundam television series and has since expanded across TV anime, theatrical films, and OVAs for more than 45 years. Known for its weighty portrayal of war, politics, and human drama set against mobile suit combat, the franchise has also extended into manga, novels, video games, and plastic model kits.
Three Bold Designs
Each shirt features a large, dynamic embroidery panel on the back depicting a signature scene from the series, while the front carries a clean, minimal one-point logo — making them easy to style for everyday wear. The three designs are:
- RX-78-2 GUNDAM Ver.2 (White) — Amuro Ray’s iconic machine, feared by enemies as the “White Devil”
- MS-07B GOUF (Navy) — The close-combat mobile suit that clashed fiercely with Amuro’s Gundam
- MSM-07S CHAR’S Z’GOK (Charcoal Black) — The personal unit of Char Aznable, the “Red Comet”
The colorways — white, navy, and charcoal black — were chosen to reflect each mobile suit’s character while remaining versatile for daily use. Sizes run from M through XXL.
