The production team behind 「くぼたまこと画業30周年記念 実写版 天体戦士サンレッドショー」 (Tentai Senshi Sunred Show — commemorating 30 years of Kubota Makoto’s artistic career) has officially released the show’s key visual along with the first set of character visuals.
Character Visuals Revealed
Five characters have been unveiled in this initial release:
- Sunred, played by Takagi Shun
- General Vamp, played by Yamada Rui 53-sei (Hige Baron)
- Fighter No. 1, played by Higuchi-kun (Hige Baron)
- Medario, played by Noma Riko
- Carmenman, played by Kageyama Tatsuya
Visuals for the remaining cast members will be released at a later date.
About the Stage Play
This production marks the first-ever stage adaptation of the anime Tentai Senshi Sunred, based on the original manga by Kubota Makoto. It is scheduled to run from October 31 to November 8, 2026, at Theater G Rosso in Tokyo Dome City, Tokyo.
Attendees will receive a special entry bonus in the form of a character card from “HEROES ATTACK!! -The Return of Flosheim-“. Advance lottery ticket applications opened on July 24.

Anime Rebroadcast
To celebrate the stage adaptation, TV Kanagawa will air a curated selection of episodes from the Tentai Senshi Sunred anime every Thursday at 24:15, running from August 6 to November 5.
