The TV anime Tōgen Anki (桃源暗鬼) has released a new “Kikoku-tai Visual” for its upcoming sequel arc, Nikkō Kegon-no-taki Arc (日光・華厳の滝編), alongside the announcement of eight new cast members who will voice the members of the Kikoku-tai.
About the Kikoku-tai
The Kikoku-tai (鬼國隊) is a group of oni who operate independently from the Kiki-kan organization. The newly released visual shows all eight members glaring sharply at the viewer, with their leader Todoroki Hayate at the center.

Special Broadcast Announcement
The information was revealed during a special programme, TV Anime “Tōgen Anki” Special — Season 2 New Information Announcement, which aired on July 2. Returning cast members Urano Kisaki (Ichinose Shiki), Nishiyama Kōtarō (Kōgōzaki Jin), and Hanae Natsuki (Yusurube Jūji) appeared alongside new cast member Kajiwara Gakuto in a surprise appearance. The programme is available to watch via archive streaming.
About Tōgen Anki
Tōgen Anki is a manga by Urushihara Yūki, serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion (Akita Shoten). Drawing on the classic Japanese folktale of Momotarō, the series depicts a conflict between those with oni blood and those descended from Momotarō, billed as a “new-generation dark hero oni tale.” The TV anime previously aired the Kyoto Arc from July 2025 and the Nerima Arc from October 2025.

The new arc is set to air in the Autumn 2026 season on Nippon TV’s “FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT” slot, beginning October 2026.
