The production team behind the television anime adaptation of Akira Ozaki‘s manga Please Excuse My Younger Brothers (Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen) has released a third promotional video and a second key visual ahead of the series’ second cour, which is set to begin on October 2.
Second-Cour Theme Songs
The new promotional video previews both the opening and ending theme songs for the upcoming cour. Neguse. performs the new opening theme “LOVE & LIKE,” while MEminor takes on the ending theme “Mabataki.”
The current first-cour themes are “Aikotoba” by DISH// (opening) and “Clover” by Reira Ushio (ending).

About the Story
The manga follows Ito Hazui, a high school girl whose life is upended during spring break when her mother remarries. Ito moves in with her new family, taking the surname Narita, only to discover she now has four younger step-brothers. She does her best to bond with everyone, but the eldest brother Gen keeps his distance — though he occasionally lets his kinder side show through his cool exterior.
Ozaki launched the manga in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine in January 2020. The 15th compiled volume was released on June 25. A live-action film adaptation opened in Japan in December 2024, debuting at number four in its opening weekend.
Broadcast & Streaming
The anime premiered on July 3 on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11, and is scheduled to run for two consecutive cours totaling 24 episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming the series worldwide as it airs.
