The Aniplex One Focus livestream event held on Saturday brought a notable update for the television anime adaptation of Akira Ozaki‘s manga Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen (Please Excuse My Younger Brothers): the reveal of the artist behind the series’ new opening theme song.
Four-member band Neguse. will perform the new opening theme, titled “LOVE & LIKE.” Aniplex simultaneously released a special promo video for the anime, alongside a video featuring the band members sharing their thoughts on performing the song and a preview of the track itself.
Theme Songs
The anime currently uses “Aikotoba” by DISH// as its opening theme and “Clover” by Reira Ushio as its ending theme. Neguse.’s “LOVE & LIKE” will take over opening theme duties in the upcoming portion of the series.
Broadcast & Streaming
The anime premiered on July 3 on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 at 24:00 JST (effectively midnight on July 4). It is scheduled to run for two consecutive cours for a total of 24 episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
