UNIQLO has unveiled a special UT collection celebrating the theatrical release of Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu (映画ちいかわ 人魚の島のひみつ), the feature film based on the original work by Nagano. The collection will roll out in two waves: T-shirts on July 17 and sweatshirts on July 24.

Film-Inspired Designs

The pieces feature graphics drawn directly from the movie’s scenes and motifs, including an illustration of Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi and their companions aboard a ship. Other characters who play key roles in the film — such as Momonga & the used bookstore owner and Siren (Seiren) — also appear across the collection’s designs.

Additional Items and Promotions

• Starting July 17, Chiikawa-patterned gift cards will also go on sale.
• Customers who purchase a houseplant at participating UNIQLO FLOWER stores or through the online store will receive an original garden pick as a gift.
