The series is written by Aozuki Kairi with artwork by Izawa Shogo. The two collaborate on a horror story that blends the modern streaming culture with the supernatural.
Synopsis
Haru and Akari are a streamer duo who run a channel called Yoiyami Shinrei Chosatai (Yoiyami Paranormal Investigation Unit), dedicated to hunting down eerie and unexplained phenomena. Despite their shared profession, the two have very different reasons for doing what they do.
Haru genuinely wants to see a ghost — driven by a deep desire to know what lies beyond death. Akari, on the other hand, became a streamer simply as a way to escape a suffocating life in the countryside, and has no real interest in encountering the supernatural.
Their dynamic is put to the test when they receive a mysterious message:
“I’m looking for my husband, who wandered into a train station that doesn’t exist and never came back.”
This message sets the unlikely pair off on their first major paranormal investigation.
