The official website for the Wound & Bandage (Kizuguchi to Hōtai) television anime — based on the manga by Umihoshi Nanai — streamed its third teaser promotional video on Friday, unveiling two additional cast members.
New Cast Members
Yōko Hikasa joins as Matsu Daemon, and Yuka Iguchi voices Magical Penpengusa. Both characters are members of the “bandage alliance,” an online community that brings together people who share a fetish for seeing strong individuals in a weakened state. They are joined in the group by protagonist Riyo Washizu, who goes by the username Wamp Samurai.

Staff
Miyuki Ishida (director of I.Cinnamoroll; episode director on One Punch Man seasons 2 and 3) is helming the production at J.C. Staff. Susumu Yamakawa (The Way of the Househusband, three seasons; Murai in Love) is handling series composition, and Natsuki Ōyama (Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?) is designing the characters.
Synopsis
The romantic comedy follows Riyo Washizu, daughter of the boss of a yakuza organization that dominates the Kanto region of Japan. Gō Kiritani, a young member of the organization, is assigned as her caretaker. He expects a docile girl, but quickly discovers that Riyo harbors an unusual fetish — she is captivated by the sight of powerful people at their most vulnerable.

The manga launched on Kodansha’s Comic Days app in August 2024. The fifth compiled volume shipped on July 16.
