TV anime Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers (鎧真伝サムライトルーパー) has revealed a new character for its second cour alongside the release of non-credit opening and ending videos for that cour.
Naota Himana Joins as New DST Commander
Debuting from episode 13, Narumi Kaede (CV: Naota Himana) is the newly appointed commander of the DST organization, stepping into the role previously held by Nasty. While she takes a strict stance toward the Samurai Troopers, she can’t help her heart fluttering whenever Sanada Ryo is around.
The second cour officially kicked off on July 7. Alongside the announcement of Narumi Kaede, character details for Rashinwa in human form — as seen in episode 13 — and Oda Ryusei in his Tendokai attire have also been unveiled.

I’m Naota Himana, playing Narumi Kaede. I’m thrilled to be joining from season 2 as the DST commander! I approached recording with both the joy of being part of this work and a healthy sense of tension at the weight of its history. Blu-ray BOX Releases
The Blu-ray BOX releases for Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers are scheduled as follows:
- Volume 3 — October 28. First-press copies include a sleeve case featuring new artwork by main character designer Murota Yuhei, and a digipack with new artwork by Kogawa Yun.
- Volume 4 — November 25. First-press copies include a sleeve case with new artwork by Murota Yuhei, and a digipack with new artwork by Kotobuki Tsukasa.
