ภาพวิชวลพิเศษฉลอง "วัน Attack on Titan" วันที่ 9 กันยายน ประกอบด้วยไทแทนทั้งเก้าและโลโก้อย่างเป็นทางการ

The Japan Anniversary Association (日本記念日協会) has officially registered September 9 as “Attack on Titan Day” (進撃の巨人の日). To mark the occasion, a special commemorative visual has been unveiled.

Why September 9?

Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人), created by Hajime Isayama, launched its serialization in the debut issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine (Kodansha) on September 9, 2009. The new annual observance is tied directly to that historic first publication date.

The commemorative visual draws on the number 9 and the series’ iconic “Nine Titans” (九つの巨人). The lower-right corner features the official “Attack on Titan Day” logo, designed around the motif of the Founding Titan.

Celebrations on September 9

A range of events are planned to coincide with the inaugural Attack on Titan Day:

  • Free chapters on Manga Pocket: Starting at midnight on September 9, readers can access Attack on Titan from the very first chapter through Chapter 99 at no charge — for 99 hours only.
  • Limited merchandise at Magazine Shop: Special goods featuring the commemorative visual and a newly drawn illustration by Isayama depicting Eren, Levi, and Erwin in formal attire will go on sale.
  • Special livestream on the evening of September 9: A celebratory broadcast will feature voice actors:
    • Yuki Kaji (梶裕貴) — voice of Eren Yeager
    • Yui Ishikawa (石川由依) — voice of Mikasa Ackerman
    • Hiro Shimono (下野紘) — voice of Connie Springer

Further details about the livestream will be announced at a later date via the official Attack on Titan X (Twitter) account.
