Akemi Takada, the artist known as the character designer for 「魔法の天使クリィミーマミ」 (Magical Angel Creamy Mami), will hold a solo exhibition titled “高田明美 個展 -Angel Touch- 2026” from June 25 to July 12, 2026 at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop in Tokyo.
Exhibition highlights
The exhibition will display newly drawn artwork from Creamy Mami as well as original pieces by Akemi Takada. It will also sell hand-signed “88Graph” prints and a variety of special commemorative goods.
Another highlight is a roughly 15-minute making-of video shown on monitors at the venue, letting fans watch the coloring process for the newly drawn artwork in detail. A shorter version of the video will also be released on the official Studio Pierrot YouTube channel.
Special benefits and events
- Autograph event: The first 100 people who purchase an original artwork or “88Graph” at the venue will be eligible to attend Akemi Takada’s autograph event on July 12, 2026.
- Special art card: Customers who spend 5,000 yen or more, including tax, at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop during the event will receive one randomly distributed “Art Card (Pearl Edition)” from a lineup of three types.
- Social media campaign: The official social media channels will run a giveaway campaign with four signed posters by Akemi Takada as prizes.
