Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦) is preparing to launch a new goods collection using original “school festival” (文化祭) themed artwork. The items will go on sale at Animate stores across Japan and through Animate Online starting August 15, 2026. A special fair celebrating the anime’s 5th anniversary will also be held.
About Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen is the hit manga by Gege Akutami about battles between curses born from negative human emotions and jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 and ended in September 2024 after more than six and a half years. The manga has now surpassed 150 million copies in worldwide circulation, including digital editions.
In September 2025, a near-future spinoff titled Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo), with Gege Akutami credited for the original work and Yuji Iwasaki on art, also ran as a short-term serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump.
Anime and Film Developments
The TV anime began airing on MBS/TBS in 2020, followed by season 2, covering “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident,” in 2023. In 2025, several installments were shown theatrically in timeline order: the compilation film Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death in May, a re-screening of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in October, and Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Edit × Culling Game Advance Screening in November, which combines a special edit of the Shibuya arc with the first two episodes of season 3, “Culling Game.”
In January 2026, season 3, “Culling Game,” featuring Kenjaku behind the events, officially began airing on MBS/TBS.
New School Festival-Themed Goods
This collection features original artwork of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and other characters wearing happi coats, traditional Japanese festival jackets, in a lively school festival setting. The goods include:

- “Houkago Mates” bead accessory sets — cute retro-style designs with a classic feel
Anime 5th Anniversary Fair
Alongside the goods release, the “Jujutsu Kaisen Anime 5th Anniversary Bunkasai Fair in Animate” will run from August 15 to September 6, 2026 at all Animate stores across Japan and Animate Online. Customers who purchase or reserve Jujutsu Kaisen-related goods during the event period will receive one of six school festival invitation-style cards (文化祭招待券風カード) as a bonus.
