TV anime Tongari Boshi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier), based on the manga by Shirahama Kamome, and Honzuki no Gekokujou Ryoushu no Youjo (Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of a Lord) have announced a special collaboration, releasing a joint visual that brings together the heroines of both currently airing Spring 2026 series.

The newly unveiled artwork depicts Coco, the protagonist of Tongari Boshi no Atelier, and Rozemyne, the heroine of Honzuki no Gekokujou, side by side — each holding a key item from their respective worlds: Coco with her magic-circle notebook and Rozemyne with a beloved book. Both girls wear bright, joyful expressions, while Kieferle and Ferdinand watch warmly over them in the background.
Author Interview: Mutual Fans
Alongside the visual, a conversation between Shirahama Kamome and Kazuki Miya, the original author of Honzuki no Gekokujou, has been published on both series’ official anime websites. The two creators have long been vocal admirers of each other’s work. In the interview, they share their impressions of each other’s anime adaptations, discuss the appeal of their respective characters, and reflect on their approaches to seeing their own stories brought to the screen. Further collaborative projects are also planned.
Director Interview: Watanabe Ayumu on Tongari Boshi no Atelier
Comic Natalie has also published an interview with Watanabe Ayumu, director of Tongari Boshi no Atelier. He speaks about the team’s dedication to faithfully recreating Shirahama’s distinctive art style and world, his working relationship with the manga author, and the original songs composed for the anime by Eve and Nakamura Hak, both written to complement the series’ atmosphere.
