Japanese accessories label JAM HOME MADE has announced a new collection under its STRICT-G JAM HOME MADE collaboration line, turning the legendary Gundam Hammer from Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム) into a wearable bracelet. Sales begin on June 19, 2026.
The Inspiration
Mobile Suit Gundam is the landmark Japanese robot anime that first aired in 1979 and has since grown into one of the medium’s most enduring franchises, celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2024.
The collection draws on a memorable moment from Episode 5. As the White Base plunges through the atmosphere, Char’s Zeon forces launch an attack. Amuro Ray scrambles to intercept alone — his bazooka is out of ammunition and there is no time to reload the beam rifle. The only option left is the Gundam Hammer, a massive iron ball on a chain. Amuro’s immediate reply — “That’ll do!” — captures desperation, urgency, and the resolve to fight with whatever is at hand. JAM HOME MADE channels that spirit into a rugged yet wearable piece of jewelry.
